GES extends 1st mid-semester break for 2019/2020 academic year…

The management of Ghana Education Service has extended the mid-semester break for the first semester academic year from the scheduled date of 12th November to 15th November,2019. This directive has been communicated through a letter to all regional directors.

Why the change of date? This is due to a recommendation made by the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS).

The headteachers were equally addressed in the letter to ensure that all the necessary facilities are put in place for effective academics before the resumption of the break on 18th November,2019.
