Ghanaian artistes to fight Coronavirus with new educative song

Legendary musician cum judge of TV3 Mentor Reloaded, Bessa Simons, has disclosed that Ghanaian musicians are warming up to collaborate on a new educative song that will sensitize Ghanaians on the deadly COVID-19.

In his words, he had this to say:


“A song to fight Coronavirus is in the pipeline. As musicians, we influence society through music. We have done that in the past and we can speak of events such as peaceful elections, among others. We are preparing and very soon we will contribute”.

There had been rumours of government contracting celebrities cum musicians to be ambassadors of “StopSpread” about the COVID-19 pandemic.

But in a sharp rebuttal to the above-stated point, the Information Minister – Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah recently announced that Government did not intend to pay any celebrity to become ambassadors of COVID-19.
