Hon. Alhaji Inusah Fuseini Should Know Better Than To Ask Mahama To Declare Himself A President
Whilst a section of Ghanaians feels that the country is at a crossroad, others hold divergent opinions and think that the opposition NDC do not have any valid case than what they’re screaming their lungs out for. To such people, the NDC’s legal case is actually dead on arrival and may receive little to nothing in terms of actual judgement.
Delving into these deliberations, a renowned blogger, Mabel, has taken her time to explain why Mahama must ignore Honourable Alhaji Inusah Fuseini’s advice for him (Mahama) to declare himself as the President-Elect and form a parallel government.
Mabel indicated;
***According to Ghanaweb, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central Constituency, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, who is also a lawyer, has advised former President John Dramani Mahama to declare himself president-elect and form a parallel government.
To say this advice is reckless and ill conceived will be an understatement. A lawyer of many years standing at the Bar shouldn’t be giving such dangerous counsel.
JM, please ignore him and activate the legal process to contest your claims as prescribed under the law.
I also pray justice and fair play are served to all parties including the victors for peace and stability to reign.

There are mixed feelings as to why the opposition NDC should go to the law court or otherwise. According to some school of thought, they’ll receive the same treatment the then opposition NPP (in 2013 electoral suit) received when they activated the legal processes against the then incumbency (NDC government).
