‘I Was Assaulted By Bolt Drivers, They Threw Things At Me’ – Taaooma Recounts Experience
Popular comedienne, Apaokagi Maryam popularly known as Taaooma, has recounted her experience with Bolt drivers in Lagos.
Taooma alleged that she was assaulted at the Lagos airport car park, for trying to record the heated argument going on between herself and her driver over where she was going. She explained the driver said he wouldn’t go on the trip if it was online and not offline and she had asked him why he accepted it in the first place.
She disclosed the argument escalated and other bolt drivers rained insults at her as the man threw a bottle which narrowly missed her. However, a few of the drivers at the park recognised her and moved to protect her from the assault.
She went further to say that this is not her first experience and people saying she was arrogant should know that she goes through a lot that is not seen online.
