I will sack ‘dirty politician’ Sam George from politics- Atik Mohammed vows

Member of the National Peoples Convention (PNC), Mr. Atik Mohammed says he is not reneging on his promise to sanitize our political space by weeding out people who bring no substance on board.

One of the said people is Sam George, the MP for Ningo Prampram who had scores to settle with him. The duo engaged in a social media battle over disagreement on EC’s decision to use a new register for the 2020 elections.

This morning, Sam George posted on his Facebook page that he has been advised to keep quiet about the issue so he is ending it there.

In a response Atik had this to say:

“I have resisted the temptation to be drawn into the “political Korle lagoon” by someone who has not only made it his playground, but his home. We must weed out these “bullet swerving” hoodlums from our body politic.”
