JJ Rawlings Had No Leadership Skills – Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi Reveals In His Book

One of the confidants of the former military leader and Ex-President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings who is in the person of Prof Kwamena Ahwoi, has once again stirred up emotional states of JJ Rawlings’ sympathizers.

Prof Kwamena Ahwoi who has duly worked on his book about his work with the first President of Ghana’s Fourth Republican state says JJ Rawlings was just ruling the country “anyhow” without any laid down strategic plan (like a try and error formality)

Prof Kwamena Ahwoi who accused his former employer that he had deliberately squeezed someone’s balls and laughed over it is still making his allegations against JJ.

Prof Kwamena Ahwoi has disclosed that, from his personal assessment of Jerry John Rawlings during the 19 years they worked together; the latter did not appear deep ‘philosophically and ideologically.’

But the former Local Government Minister believes the former president is nonetheless “a born leader”.
“He can be domineering, vindictive, and fearsome. The nearest analogy will be the Akan proverb about the bird “Santrofi” or nightjar, in English, belonging to the family Caprimulgidae which proverb states that “Santrofi amoma, wokye no a, w’akye mmusuo; wo gyae no a, w’agyae adee’ loosely translated as “the nightjar bird, if you catch it, you have caught a curse; if you let it go, you have let go of something precious”.
