The Supreme Court has dismissed the election petition filed by former president John Dramani Mahama challenging the declaration of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as president by Electoral Commission Chairperson, Jean Adukwei Mensah.
The Court held that, whether or not the results of Techiman South is added to the results declared on the 9th December, 2020, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo ADDO still obtained the constitutional requirement of more than 50% threshold.
The court therefore unanimously dismissed the petition as being without any merit.
