My girlfriend takes me serious – Bismark The Joke

Contrary to the fact that, he is funny on the screens and the tendency of him being seen by his partner as a serious person in real life may be low, Bismark The Joke has revealed in an interview with livefmghana.com that his girlfriend takes him really serious.

“I am a different person when I am with my girlfriend and so I react or do things differently, you see when it comes to my job, I put in my best and I make sure I get the job well done but that does not mean I have to be like that everywhere I go or with everybody.

“In person, I am cool and reserved, I only get to ‘fool’ when I get on set and the director says action. My girlfriend is one of my biggest fan but she takes me serious when I say something or when I am with her,” he said.

According to the Cow and Chicken actor, the way he is able to transform a well written movie script into a comic one surprises him sometimes.

“It is not as if I sit to rehearse how I will change the whole character , all that I have to do is study the script, understand the character and everything fall in place as soon as I get in front of the camera and I always give thanks to God for such a blessing,” he said.

Christened Bismark Nii Odoi comes from labadi, a surburb of Accra. He went to Rev Thomas Clegg Memorial Methodist JHS at kaneshie and then to St.Francis Sec.Tech in Akim Oda.

To his fans, he said; “I thank them for their support, love and care and I ask God to bless them in all they do, I love them.”
