New Year at the mall
Today being the second day of the month I decided to take a little trip to a recently established mall called “the junction mall. It’s located at Nungua Barrier a suburb of Accra and quiet close to the sakumono beach road leading to Tema. The mall is at a very strategic point because those from Tema could easily navigate towards it and those in Accra alike. Comparably it’s not as huge as the other malls but it also has a lot of patrons. The place was occupied with people shopping at ShopRite and parading their yellow packages everywhere. Food courts were also full to the brim that people had to wait for others to vacate their seats and take over. The most surprising is the long queue of people waiting to buy bread at the shop rite bakery. The place was full of both children and adults who obviously came to have fun. One couldn’t miss the sight of lovers who held their hands together eating ice cream and others popcorn and portraying love in public. On the grounds is staged a live band churning out melodious highlife tunes to patronizes of the Junction mall. People danced with friends and love ones to the music.
