Colin Kaepernick remains in the headlines for his controversial protest of the National Anthem as a result of racial injustice and police brutality remaining unchecked, and NFL executives seem to think he’s a traitor for his use of free speech.
Colin is getting plenty of backlash and support for his protest, but many NFL executives are telling the Bleacher Report they just aren’t here for the movement.
VLAD TV writes:
49’ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick recently decided not to stand for the American national anthem in a show of protest during a pre-season game and has been facing backlash in the media ever since. From supporters of his stance to others questioning his racial identity, the quarterback has heard it all. Now, reports of backlash from un-named members of the NFL front offices are coming in. One member of the front office went on to call Kaepernick a traitor, saying “I don’t want him anywhere near my team. He’s a traitor.” Another team executive said, “He has no respect for our country, f*ck that guy.”
