NY DJ And Friends to Shut The City (Kumasi) Down

Kumasi is bubbling with excitement as the date for the most anticipated celebrity party draws nearer. Dubbed “Shut The City Down“, the event is to celebrate the birthday of Ebenezer ‘Presenter Extraordinaire’ Donkoh popularly known as NY DJ and to welcome all tertiary students in Kumasi back to their various campuses.

Born, bred and raised in Ghana. NY DJ has established his brand as the youngest commercial radio dj in Kumasi. He started his professional journey at KNUST’s Focus FM where he became the toast of many and later replaced his cousin and celebrated broadcaster, Kojo Akoto Boateng, as the host of Homestretch (Bumper to Bumper) at Kapital Radio. He has loved music since infancy and that love has seen him win popular endorsement as an authentic source of music.

The event, like last year’s which is already trending among showbiz personalities on twitter will bring together all showbiz personalities in Kumasi and Ghana in general. Jay Foley is billed to MC the show as DJ Andy Dosty, DJ Tuga and DJ Quest treat patrons to good music at the Neighbours Pub.

Artistes billed to perform and thrill fans include the music sensation Bradez, Ko-Jo, Cabum, Nicks and latest additon to the CUE family, female music sensation, Lousika.
