PROMINENT GHANAIANS WHO HAVE RECOVERED FROM COVID

I have always maintained that the Coronavirus has all the senses of man including sense of reasoning. It is choosing particular targets that are good for the containment of the virus. Per the mode of spread, it would be disastrous if the virus was concentrated markets and in public transports.

We have no proper systems to ensure that there is proper social distancing protocols observed in the market places and in commercial vehicles. And the people who patronize such places are those who are living in a single room with all their family. You can imagine how it would be if one contracts the virus from these places and keep on infecting others. It will spread as rapid as wildfire int the dry season.

The Coronavirus is someway somehow affecting the top celebrities who are capable of self isolating without putting other people in danger, not even their family. Because of that most of the celebs have Recoreved from the Coronavirus. Some of them are Hon.Kwaku Agyeman Manu, Garry Al-Smith, Hon. , Hon. Carlos Ahenkora, Hon. , Hon. .

Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu, the Minister for Health was one of the top celebrities who contracted the virus. He didn’t announce it himself and went to isolation. When the president was announcing it, he said the Minister got the Coronavirus in his line of duty. He Recoreved after two weeks of treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Center.

Garry Al – Smith is the Head of sports at Joy FM and Joy News. He is one the boldest Coronavirus celebrities in Ghana. Even before he was affected, he used his social media platforms for public education because he has a lot of followers. After he unfortunately contracted the virus, he announced it and gave education to the public throughout his stay at the University of Ghana Medical Center. He wrote on one evening that he will expose the health system of Ghana and branded it as useless. He was quickly discharged from the hospital as being Recoreved.

Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh known as Napo, the Minister for Education. Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh wrote through his press secretary that he was detained at the University of Ghana Medical Center awaiting for his Coronavirus test results. According to him, he had tested negative for the virus but still felt unwell so he decided to go into quarantine til his results come. He tested positive and Recoreved after going through the treatment process.

Hon. Carlos Ahenkora who got sacked as a result of the virus has also Recoreved. He got the virus the same time Hon. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie kicked the bucket from the virus. He discharged himself albeit with the virus and went round his Constituency monitoring the voter registration process. The public found his conduct to be insensitive and dangerous for public safety. He relieved himself of his position as a result of the reckless steps he took.

Hon. Peter Mac Manu, the campaign Manager for the New Patriotic Party for both 2016 and 2020 also got the virus. According to Carlos Ahenkora, they were all in the same ward at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He spent more than 14 days at the treatment center. Some media reports found that he was in the Intensive Care Unit because he was severely ill.

Nii Teikoe Tagoe, a presidential staffer at the Jubilee House and former aid to the president of the republic of Ghana also announced just yesterday that he has recovered from the virus. He has joined Hon . Matthew Opoku Prempeh and others in their fight against stigmatization.
