Sarkodie Passes as the Most Awarded Rapper in Africa?

Award schemes have been organized from time immemorial to applaud the services of those who have dedicated themselves to entertaining fans or excelling well in their chosen field.

Receiving awards by artiste in particular give them the bragging rights over their counterparts. In Ghana, the issue of who wields the biggest fan base and award scheme is still under contention.

According to reliable sources, Ghanaian rapper and hiplife artist Sarkodie has received 100 awards from 176 nominations.

If this is indeed anything to go by, then this probably makes him the most awarded Rapper In Africa.
