Social Media User Argues On Why Teamwork Is The Best For Greater Exploits

Most often than not, people become selfish because they do not really know what they have and how that can influence others positively whilst they still hold on unto their fortunes.

The erroneous thoughts that helping others may drain you of your luck or fortunes is untenable. Perhaps, it is just one of the African myths but, ideally, helping others grow is the best solution for one’s perpetual progression.

A netizen has written a lengthy piece to illustrate why helping others is the magical way forward to salvage retrogression and chase after collective successes.

His post read;

***This year; we shall not be ashamed or afraid to publicize and advertise our legitimate hustles, businesses and marketable skills.

This year; we shall create multiple streams of income. We shall make money.

This year; we must figure out the differences between those friends that are true friends and those who just hang around masquerading as “friends” for when they will need our help. We must figure out the differences.

This year; we will channel our energies into those things that matter. And we won’t waste our energies on those irrelevances.

This year; we shall take our health very seriously. Do away with habits that jeopardize your health. Eat healthy, with lots of vegetable. Drink enough water (2-5 litres daily for adults), substitute pop drinks, sugar-packed juices and excessive alcohol for WATER and home-made fruit juice. Exercise, even though it’s 20minutes walk per day.

This year; we must take skin care seriously. The skin is the largest organ of the body. Cleans, use Vitamin C Serum, moisturize with a hydrating lotion, use sunscreen. And DO NOT use any skincare product without all the ingredients clearly stated on the packaging.

This year; do away with toxic and negative forms of energy, both in real life and on internet. Leave those toxic groups, unfollow, unfriend and block where necessary to maintain your sanity.

This year; take your legitimate hustles seriously. Those lands, properties, assets, cars and holidays won’t buy themselves.

This year; rid yourself of your bitterness and toxicity. Be happy for others and pray for your turn to shine.

Learn NOT to demonize things that you can’t afford or things that are off your reach. If you can’t afford to spend N5million holidaying in Dubai, it doesn’t necessarily mean those who can afford it and are doing it are stupid and wasteful. If you would rather invest such money, good for you…. some would rather use theirs to holiday or on human hair or on other “vain” things…. and it’s still okay. The world doesn’t revolve around you and your choices.

Also, learn not to demonize alternative choices. There are different types of fruits. Your favourite fruit is apple, and you hate cashew. Good! Some people’s favourite fruit is cashew, and some people hate apples. Which is still okay. Learn to understand that other people reserve the right to hate what you love and love what you hate. Learn to understand that others reserve the right to make alternative choices, different from yours, as long as those choices aren’t discriminatory or harmful to others.

In 2021, develop yourself. Do away with any habit you aren’t proud of. Try to be a better version of yourself. Try to be the best at what you do.

We can all excel. We can all be rich. We can all be happy. We can all succeed.

While I was doing my undergraduate in the UK, I attended a friend’s graduation ceremony in another UK University. They were 11 in her class graduating from her program. They ALL graduated with FIRST CLASS.

She told me that from the first year, they studied together, did their assignments together, and helped each other. And they all graduated with First Class. Her first class did not stop her classmates from bagging first class too.

What I learnt from this is that my success doesn’t stop yours. We can both succeed. The sky is big enough for many eagles to fly.*

Do you side with her on this?
