Stonebwoy contemplates on changing his stage name to 1GAD

Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy who is a Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae singer has decided to get a different name for his brand.

According to him, he’s a man now and does not feel the vibe with the “boy” attached to his name and so he wishes to change it to 1GAD. To have an all inclusive decision together with his fanbase, he created a poll for fans to vote and choose between “Stonebwoy” or “1GAD”.

At the end of the polls, majority opted for the change of name whilst the rest stood adamant. Look at the screenshot of the polls and results below:

Stonebwoy is the CEO of Burniton Music Group. He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
