Togolese arrested at Najong No.1 attempting to register

A Togolese has been arrested in Najong No. 1 of the Bunkpurugu Constituency attempting to register.  He was arrested by Immigration officers who were on patrol and monitoring the voter registration exercise.
The announcement was made the the North East Regional Secretary of the NPP, Sulley Sambian who also comes from the constituency.
“A Togolese caught in flagrante delicto (caught in the act) trying to register at a polling station at Najong No.1 in the Bunkpurugu Constituency. Congratulations guys
As the president would always say: let’s have a Ghanaian register, not a West African one
Meanwhile, I am still monitoring the registration exercise. It’s been good so far.” the chief scribe of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the North East Region, Lawyer Sulley Sambian wrote on his Facebook page.
