Understand The Driver-Rider Relationship For Your Safety — UBER Lover Fumes

Driving your own car doesn’t come with much stress like joining a public transport system where the interactions with other passengers may seem weird, tantrums, and other issues may just crop up as soon as you take your seat. With the increased availability of online rides, with just a manageable financial muscle, you could just place an order for a car or apply on a secured app for your ride to be parked just a few walks away from your bedroom.

Your rapport with any driver in such instances could be a yardstick for other drivers to judge those who patronize their future services. A regular customer of the UBER and BOLT online services has explained on a group dubbed Trotro Diary about the need to accord the necessary courtesy to drivers one may encounter in the future.

He divulged:

“Why do you get angry if the online driver asks you where you are going?

If you board a taxi, you will surely tell him where you are going.

The drivers ask because the apps don’t show them your specific destination.

Someone will say security but hey, you are more secured than the driver cos you have every detail of the driver even before you get to his car i.e his name, ID(LICENCE) photo n phone number, etc.

Someone even registers on the hailing app with wrong numbers, invalid email, fraudulent credit cards, etc.

It’s high time we understand the driver-rider relationship and make it nice.

Some riders even think the app owners own the vehicles which is absolutely wrong.

Don’t just get to the car and shout “UBER” or “BOLT” because the reason why the drivers name show on the app is for you to address him by his name.

Part 2 will follow”…

Do you think he has a genuine case here?
