(Video): Kunsu – Mankranso residents clash over Akufo Addo’s promised Hospital

The residents of Kunsu have clashed with Mankranso residents in the Ahafo Ano South West District of Ashanti Region  over the site for Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo’s promised District Hospital.

According to the residents of Kunsu who embarked on the  demonstration,  they have been sidelined by the government for long despite their support to the New Patriotic Party for decades.

Some of the people including the Committee Chairman of Kunsu who spoke to Dess FM’S DJ Tugar said that, some members of the party are trying to divert the hospital to Mankranso which is the district capital with a hospital already.

But for the timely intervention of the police, it could have resulted in a violent clash between the two towns.

Yesterday there was a similar demonstration by the people of Mankranso which led to the lockup of the constituency party office.
