Who’s Your Talented Rapper – Sarkodie vs Manifest ; Twi Or English?

Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie took the entire rap game in Ghana and Africa to a whole different level. When he started his Twi rap, then D-Cryme had also launched his Twi-Pop brand along the way but Sarkodie’s sustained whilst D-Cryme’s own gradually became irrelevant.

People chastized Sarkodie because he opted to rap only in Twi instead of occasionally doing so in English like his other rivals such as Manifest. Manifest as a rapper had lived all his life overseas and it wasn’t alien for him to adopt the Queen’s language in his lyrical banters.

Admittedly, both Sarkodie and Manifest can be said to be the finest rappers of our time just like Lord kenya and Obrafour back in their days.

Some time back, these best rappers were lyrically at each other’s throat and we wondered why? Most people couldn’t exactly trace the exact cause of the Sarkodie/Manifest beef.

Some argued that Manifest is way better lyrically. His lyrics are that of a poet whilst Sarkodie is better when it comes to rhythm and flow.
