The expectation were that Obinim would have transmogrify to a snake and bite all the police officers. Unfortunately, his powers could not be executed in police custody. The Bishop was charged on two counts (Assault and Fraud). The Fraud Charges is disclosed as dropped for further investigation whiles the Assult Charge is being reviewed. Sources close to ghanashowbiz says the Assault Charge may also be dropped if technicalities are considered in his favour.

At Obinim’s residence in Ashaley Botwey, a group of congruent led by his wife Mrs Florence Obinim in a fasting and prayer received the Bishop and his co-minister warmly and with joy.

Speaking with one of the Reverend ministers called Saviour, he said:

“Jesus has proven to be saviour once again by granting us a release of Bishop Obinim, although we are aware this is a bail yet with gladness in our heart we know he is back to heal the sick and save the broken heart as God has ordained him. Joy is back to the house of the Lord and all are edged to watch OBtv live for updates on the celebration. His absence has led to few casualties, however his return will be a blessing to the mass. Thanks be to God”.
