912 newly-recruited trained teachers to successfully go through with their biometric exercise
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued some identification cards for 912 newly recruited teachers to enable them to access the new entrant biometric exercise or registration. This is the last process all newly employed GES staff go through before they receive their salaries.
Each of the 912 teachers who were part of those trained in 2018 and employed last year is to report to the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall in Accra from tomorrow, May 11 to 15 to undergo the said registration exercise.
The registration will enable the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) to capture their details onto the public payroll before they begin to receive their monthly salaries.
