Circle Dubai nearly killed three people

The new Kwame Nkrumah circle flyover “Circle Dubai” warned traffic users and the government to be careful when conducting business in the area. This is due to an accident where a freight container dropped from the top and landed on the ground destroying some vehicles and injuring three people.

The culture of constructing roads in Ghana and not providing adequate road signs may be the reason behind the recent incident. Who’s responsibility is it to ensure legitimate vehicles apply the roads appropriately? It appears this trailer should have no business on a flyover, a possible reason why most of our roads deteriorate fast.

MINISTRIES OF ROADS AND TRANSPORT, if still in existence should be cautioned to answer to the public. The country cannot afford to loose innocent people over irresponsible DRIVERS or TRAFFIC REGULATORS.
