FACT — No Politicians’ Wish Is Bigger Than That Of Ghana

With the electioneering moment here with us. The onus lies with us to swiftly underscore the need to maintain the peace we have enjoyed since the Fourth Republic kick-started. Both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) must consider the Ghanaian before taking any decision that could plunge the country into anarchy.

During the recent Peace Pact by both the NPP and NDC, I was happy for the presence of Her Excellency Johnson: she did marvelously well by narrating how Liberia lost so many things because of instability.

Ghanaians are peace-loving people who have always tried all their possible best to keep the country so. The continual boast about how peaceful we are as Ghanaians should be the single thing that guides us into perpetual wisdom when it comes to the issue of elections.

Elections have ways been about the politician soliciting for a push from electorates. In a normal circumstance, they get that push and really enjoy everything that comes with power. What then do the voters enjoy in return? Perhaps, the taxes they later pay!

Is this what is gonna make you as a Ghanaian pick up arms to destabilize the peace and serenity the country is currently blessed with?

It is noteworthy that no politician is seemingly important than Ghana! In all our dealings from this 2020 elections till we all leave planet earth as Ghanaians let us always stand for peace — no more or less.
