FAKE NEWS COVID -19 – KORLE BU TEACHING HOSPITAL
The management of Korle Bu Teaching hospital has reacted to a video circulating on various social media platforms claiming the two people confirmed coronavirus in Ghana yesterday have turned negative.
The video was filmed on February 6th, 2020, when the first two suspected cases tested negative. The CEO o the Hospital, Dr.Daniel Asare in an interview with City TV made those claims, and not in relation to the announcement made by the Minister for Health yesterday.

Read the message from the hospital below:
“It has come to the attention of the Hospital’s authorities about a video circulating on social media of our CEO, Dr Daniel Asare saying the two confirmed Covid-19 cases have tested negative.
The said video is fake, false and unrelated to the two confirmed cases announced by the Minister of Health.
The video was recorded over a month ago when the Hospital had two suspected cases whose results proved negative. The two patients were discharged home the next day.
The public is advised to desist from circulating fake news to cause fear and panic.
