First Ever Intensive Continuous Professional Development Day Comes Off Today – GES.

As part of the provisions of the newly implemented Standards Based Curriculum by National Council for Curriculum and Assessment ( NaCCA) this year, the Ghana Education Service has released a letter for a training session today.

In the letter above sighted by this website with the signatory of the PRO for GES, Madam Cassandra Twum-Ampofo, all learners from KG1 to Basic 6 in all Basic Schools in Ghana are to stay home today for their facilitators to use the day for their Continuous Professional Development Studies.

According to GES, facilitators are to attend this training four times annually to boost their professionalism in the new curriculum, work values, ethics and other underlining requirements in the teaching profession.
