Ghana’s Peace Is The Envy Of Africa – Dr. Bawumia

Arguably, Ghana is the only West African country tagged as the most peaceful state. This is because of the different tribes found within the five main ethnic groups in the country — Ewes, Akans, Ga-Adangmes, Guans and the Mole-Dagbanis and how peacefully the people live with each other.

With the differences in the food we consume, the way we dress, languages we speak, music and dance, etc, it’s quite special that Ghanaians live together in a lovely fashion.

This special feeling we have in the country seems to be shaky because of some activities of saboteurs who call themselves “Western Togolanders”. These separatists in the Volta Region shook the nation last week and supposedly burnt buses at an STC yard in Ho last Monday.

When asked what he has to say about the secessionists, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia warned the separatists movement to stop dreaming since the government of the day has no plans of sitting down with them. The Vice Prez said this and more on Asempa FM. Also, the Veep added that Ghanaians should guard the peace and stability they have since Ghana’s peace is the envy of Africa.
