HE has not performed at public events for some time now, but come September 21, gospel artiste, Joe Beechem will be in action at the Healing in His Presence concert at the ICGC Temple at Abofu, Achimota, in Accra.
The concert, the second in the series would also feature some renowned gospel acts like Harmony Deh, David Opare, Pastor Josh Laryea, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, and David Asare.
According to the organisers, Hi-Lynks Communication and Davidic Worthship Ministry, the concert promises to set the stage for one of the most anticipated gospel shows of the year.
When Showbiz spoke to Pastor Joe Beecham, he described himself as an instrument of God who has availed himself to be used to promote His work.
Touching on what he will feed patrons of the show, he said those who will attend the event will be treated to some of his old songs as well as a selection of some new ones.
“Ghanaians should come expecting songs like Ao Yesu, Asem bi and a lot of others. By God’s grace, I’m currently working on a new project and there will be a few songs from that as well,” he added.
In an interview with Showbiz, the CEO of Davidic Worthship Ministry, David Ankamah Opare, added that logistics and resources were all in place to ensure a concert free of technical hitches and other problems that have charaterised similar events in the past.
He added that there will also be a short presentation on autism at the concert. “We want to create some awareness on autism. Children from the School of Autism in Accra will be there to exhibit their handicrafts, after which a donation would be made to the institution.
