John Mahama storms the Supreme Court with his running mate

The presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama and his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman stormed the supreme Court earlier today.

Mr. John Mahama is challenging the legitimacy of the announcement made by the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensa declaring Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as the president elect on 9th December, 2020.

The court officially started hearing the case today and John Dramani Mahama and Prof.Naana Jane stormed the court.

He was there with his lawyers, Tsatsu Tsikata, Tony Lithur, Abrahama Amaliba and his party Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

After the court proceedings today, he went to his Facebook page and summarized what transpired in the court for his followers.

He wrote:

The Supreme Court this morning granted the motion for amendment of my petition challenging the results of the 2020 presidential election declared by the Electoral Commission.

As is the desire of many Ghanians, the Court also announced its decision to broadcast live the proceedings of the court.
