Kobi Rana And Kafui Should Have Acted Swiftly

Ghanaians are gradually liking entertainment from all angles and it is a step in the right direction since the depressed souls amongst us are increasing day in and day out.

Movies are made to entertain the Ghanaian populace and some of them have achieved that aim over the period of years of their existence. Ideally, a good movie which features top shattas like the David Donto, Maame Dokono, and others has the tendency to make you glued to your seat forever. Is there a cause for which these movies are no longer enticing Ghanaians?

Well, the latest under discussion is that of Kafui’s own and Kobi Rana’s which was blocked for reasons best known to the authorities after the directors and producers made an attempt to premiere their latest movie. From varied allegations, counter allegations and other propagandists movement, the premiering was supposedly stopped because of issues best known to the authorities.

Could there be truth in what they’ve said? If so then how do we reconcile what has ensued to the tantrums they are throwing around? As soon as the authorities issued the statement to block the premier, they should have acted swiftly to make a way out.
