Martin Amidu is not part of NDC again – Otukonor reveals

Deputy General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Boamah Otukonor has revealed that founding member and former running mate of the NDC, Mr. Martin A.B.K. Amidu is no longer part of the party.

He said this during an interview with Happy FM, monitored by Ghanashowbiz.com. The NDC is embarking on a cleanup exercise to get rid of some party faithful they believe are antagonizing them.

They began that action this week starting from the immediate past chairman of the Central Region, Bernard Allotey Jacobs.

“Martin Amidu is no longer a member of the NDC. You recall that he himself told us he had resigned from the NDC in view of the fact he was taking up an appointment as Special Prosecutor. We never sacked him but he left himself and as we speak we do not have his name in our books as a member”, he revealed.
