Miss Universe Ghana 2014 to hold 2nd auditions on June 29

After successfully selecting 6 of its expected 10 to 15 finalist last Friday June 20, the Miss Universe Ghana team is making a call to young, intelligent and confident Ghanaian women between the ages of 18 and 27 to once again come out and audition for free to be the next Miss Universe Ghana.

Miss Universe Ghana is an entry-level pageant to the international competition. It is a joint venture between business mogul Donald Trump and American media giant, NBC. The lady that saves her place as Miss Universe Ghana 2014 works vigorously throughout her region to advocate for women.

As part of this year’s event the MUGH team has set up a 10 week training session for the ladies who will be selected to participate themed ‘Charm School’ and exceptional professionals in various fields will be training the ladies who make it to ‘Charm school’.

Training sessions for ‘Charm School’ will take place once in a week and will include various modules such as Public Speaking, Etiquette and Cause Alignment.

This year Miss Universe Ghana is focused on selecting a young lady who will not only possess physical beauty but has the poise, intelligence and passion to change her community.

Miss Universe Ghana 2014 hopes to empower all finalists with tools that will help them impact their various communities after the pageant and push each of them to empower themselves, those around them and Ghana as whole.

The 2nd audition is scheduled for the 29th of June 2014 (11am to 4pm) at the plush Oak Plaza Hotel on the Spintex Road, flower pot junction next to the new Palace Shopping Mall.

Selected finalists will go straight into Charm School training as well as preparation towards a host of other events in the run up to the main pageant.
