Omah Lay, Tems and her manager released From Uganda Jail

After spending days in detention, Ugandan authorities have dropped the charges against Nigerian singers, Temilade Openiyi, populalrly known as Tems and Stanley Omah Didia, also known as Omah Lay.

The chief magistrate court of Makindye, Uganda issued a release order, dated December 15, stating the charges against both artists had been withdrawn and therefore, they should be released forthwith “unless held on other charges”.

This release order covered not only the artists Omah Lay and Tems but also manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi.

Part of the release order reads:

“The charges against the accused as Stanley Omah Didia, as Temilade Openiyi and as Muyiwa Awoniyi the said accuses persons from your custody forthwith unless held on other charges.”
