Police Hospital Receive Financial Support Of Over Gh¢21,000

A section of committed police Officers who have formed a WhatsApp Group dubbed “Thinkers”, have donated medical equipment valued at twenty-one thousand, two hundred and thirty Ghana Cedis (GHC 21,230.00) to the Police Hospital in an attempt to aid its operations. The equipment are six (6) wheelchairs, six (6) suction machines and two (2) stretchers.

The timely donation was duly made on behalf of the group by DCOP Dr. Samuel Otu-Nyarko, Chief Superintendent Mr. Michael Vieira and Corporal Josephine Asondek, who said that the donation was made to celebrate the three years of coming into being of the said Whatsapp group.

Receiving the equipment, the Police Hospital Administrator DCOP Mr. David Eklu assured the donors that hospital management will put the equipment into good use at the Out-Patients /Emergency Department. He also encouraged the public to emulate the thoughtful philanthropic gesture made by the donors.
