Tema Police Regional Commander Meets Media Representatives In New Presser
DCOP Barima Tweneboah Sasraku II, Commander for the Tema Police Region has met with Media representatives as important stakeholders in the fight against crime.
“Our two institutions play vital roles of serving the public, which makes it imperative that the media and the Police work together in an atmosphere of trust, confidence and mutual respect” he said. He stated further that his doors are open to the media and that the media should share with the Police any information relating to Police for a peaceful environment particularly as the nation prepares for elections.
The Journalists promised to work with the Police before, during and after the elections and beyond for the good of the country. They requested that the Police should readily share information with the media so as to avoid misinformation and speculation. The Journalists present were representatives of the Ghanaian Times, Daily Guide, Daily Graphic, Chronicle, Green FM, Kingdom FM, Plan B FM, Adom FM, Onua FM, Joy News, Ashaiman TV, GTV, TV3, ATV, and Atinka TV.
Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Regional Commander DCOP/Mr Anderson Fosu-Ackaah and the Regional Crime Officer, ACP/Mr PK Frimpong and other senior Police Officers.
