King Sarkodie Has Made Great Moves In The Ghanaian Entertainment Circles

Rap as a genre has become synonymous to lyrical genuineness, content creation and professional rhythmic traits. To love rap means to be a creative folk in all endeavours and it won’t be far from wrong to suggest that rappers are intelligent peeps whose aim is to make their craft enticing as possible.

In Ghana, when rap is mentioned, Hammer’s boy – Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie comes to mind. The Last 2 member’s role in rap music can never be matched. During days when most entertainment critics had never anticipated a global exposure of a Tema-based underground artiste, he proved all wrong! But, it all came very fast and cool.

Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie had the best exposure when his rap in the local dialect climbed the international ladder to BET, Tim Westwood’s studio and other prestigious rap avenues.

During the first few months of Sarkodie as an artist with such an international exposure, everything seemed perfect and well structured for the best things ahead.

Even though there are other rappers who are equally good, Sarkodie stands tall when class is mentioned. The upcoming rappers owe their allegiance and respect to this Tema dude who came from nowhere: but saw and conquered.
